September 3 to October 14: Meadows Maze at Hopcott Farm

Get lost in the Meadows Maze and hunt for the 12 hidden stations within the corn maze. September 13: Geocaching Extravaganza

Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt that you can play with a GPS or a smartphone. Join the BC Geocaching Association for workshops, displays of creative caches and try it out with help from experienced geocachers Admission is by donation. Proceeds support the Richmond Nature Park Society’s nature education programs.

September 19: Olde Harvest Fair

September 23: Raise a Reader Day

Support this local charity by purchasing a copy of the Vancouver Sun newspaper. Volunteers will be out on the streets taking donations in exchange for a special edition of the newspaper. All funds raised will go to the literacy.

September 26: The Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival
Slocan Park and Renfrew Park
4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Come celebrate the full moon at the annual Renfrew- Collingwood neighborhood festival. The festival will begin with the harvest fair, where community members will compete with their best from their summer garden. Watch musicians and dancers perform as they prepare the way for the twilight lantern parade. Join the community in lighting your own lantern and watching it float away into the night. Wind down with tea and moon cakes and listen to the live music, and watch performers fire spin, stilt dance, and more!

September 27: Rivers Day

A global event celebrating rivers in Canada and around the world. Rivers Day fun includes entertainment, children’s activities and demonstrations.
