June 4: 30th Annual ChildRun Family Fun Run

9:00 AM
As the largest family fun run in Vancouver, ChildRun inspires participants to raise funds for childhood cancer research and treatment areas at BC Children’s Hospital.  On Sunday May 31, 2015, annual ChildRun will host runners and walkers of all ages and abilities on an exciting run, where participants can choose between a scenic 5 km route through Queen Elizabeth Park or a 1 km Fun Run, followed by a carnival celebration.

June 3 & 10: Lego Robotics

Have fun making creatures and robots while learning some digital literacy skills!Children aged 9-12 with limited to no experience with LEGO Robotics are invited to come to a 5 week session with David Brear, local LEGO expert! Space is limited to 10 children. All equipment is supplied.

June 4: Hats Off Day

 June 19: Festival Coquitlam Lafarge Lake Annual Free Fishing Day
Lafarge Lake, Pinetree Way, Coquitlam

This family-friendly event is open to all levels of fishing enthusiasts. Whether you wish to try the open lake or in the netted area for beginners, there will be lots of fun and opportunities to fish. Experts will be on site to teach fishing fundamentals and techniques. Come early and experience stocking the lake with fresh Rainbow Trout.
