Join this brand-new evening event and party. West End Fest is a night full of fun with something for everyone. Featuring incredible food and beer garden, great live bands, and an opportunity to raise funds for Canuck Place Children's Hospice. Carnival-style games, roving performers, main-stage bands, Kidz Zone, inflatables, arts and crafts, drop-in street hockey (all ages; bring your sticks and equipment) and more. Southlands Country Fair

The Southlands Riding Club is hosting the 9th Annual Southlands Country fair. Halloween on the Heights
October 30, 3:30 - 9 pm
On the Heights, Halloween belongs in the neighbourhood. Start the fun early with fireworks on Friday, Oct. 29 at 8:15 pm at Gilmore Community School. Then on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Hastings Street from Boundary to Gamma will be buzzing with little ghosts and goblins. Participating Heights merchants will hand out candy and treats to anyone in costume. The adventure continues from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Confederation Park, where you can take a ride on the Halloween Train in the Dark. Be sure to join this deliciously spooky (but not too spooky!) evening filled with yummy treats and a magical touch of community spirit!
