When it comes to making the transition –from the daily commute for a management job –to taking on a series of entrepreneurial ventures, Lara knows the feeling all too well. The turning point was when she became a new mom. She began the process of reinventing herself so she could have a business she loved and still spend ample time with her son. Several ventures later, she is still loving it.
Lara is the founder of Bellies to Babies Celebration, a twice-annual trade show showcasing products, services and resources for new and expectant parents. She is also the owner of Runners and Booties Fitness helping new moms get/stay fit through weekly social interaction with other moms and babies.
As a graduate of several post-secondary programs in business administration, marketing and new media, she draws on copious amounts of creativity, innovation and business acumen. In addition, she is an accredited fitness instructor, specializing in pre-and post-natal fitness, and a highly seasoned event planner. She also brings a notable internet marketing, event planning and marketing savvy to her work through prior roles as Marketing Manager for large corporations.

Daniela Ginta, M.Sc., resides in Kamloops, with husband and two sons. who give “her ample reasons to keep reinventing herself as a mother”. Daniela believes that some of the most valuable gifts she can offer her boys including unconditional love and her time. The whole family spends almost every weekend exploring unique places. With each venture, there is a memorable story to remember as a family.
Natacha V. Beim, Founder of Core Education and Fine Arts, lives in Vancouver with her husband and two sons. She tapped into her unique perspective when creating the all-day early learning program at CEFA, designed for infants and children up to five years old. The enriched curriculum features a blend of subjects to give children the freedom to learn and grow through play. She divides her time between researching; writing; professionally speaking and most importantly being a mom.
Julie Romanonwski, resides in Surrey, and is the owner of Miss Behaviour: Parenting Coach & Consultant Services. As a licensed Early Childhood Consultant specializing in children’s behaviour; discipline; anxiety; development; and communication through a positive and respectful approach. Julie has helped parents learn key skills and techniques to enjoy raising their children. She is passionate about being a motivational speaker and inspiring parents to achieve their very best.
Lindsay Coulter, David Suzuki’s Queen of Green with a Zoology degree and a passion for nature she courageously leads and inspires others to live more gently on the Earth. She answers fan and follower questions, offers DIY recipes and tips without judgement and guilt, and regularly appears as a “green” expert in the media. As a mom of a toddler, she can lead a mean worm hunt, loves to ride horses in the Rockies and throws the best neighbourhood block parties!
Kim Vopni resides in Port Moody with her husband and two sons. She is the owner of Pelvienne Wellness Inc and co-founder of Bellies Inc. Her passion for helping women optimize their pelvic health began with her own pregnancies and has made her a go-to resource on all things pelvic floor related. Known as The Fitness Doula, she educates and empowers women in pregnancy and motherhood so they can get through birth in one piece, laugh without leaking, and have core confidence for life.
Kristen Yarker, MSc, RD and Child-feeding expert helps Moms and Dads support their picky eaters to try new foods on their own (without being forceful or sneaky). A speaker, writer, and dietitian, Kristen is a picky eater turned food-lover herself. Her passion: enjoy healthy eating (from the very first bite).
