urbanbaby & toddler magazine also features a comprehensive resource directory at the back of the publication that directs parents to where they can find information on subjects like breastfeeding support, mom & tot groups, local retailers, and childcare services.

urbanbaby & toddler magazine is recognized and recommended by BC parents, healthcare professionals, and child experts as an excellent source of useful information for new and expectant parents.

About the Editor
urbanbaby & toddler magazine was founded by Emma Lee, in 2003, shortly after she had her first baby.

"As a new mom, I was frustrated because I couldn't find local new parenting-related information in any one place," explains Emma. "That's why I started urbanbaby & toddler magazine. It is the new parent's one-stop resource."

Emma has more than 13 years of experience in publishing for parents, from writing and editing to design and layout, from sales and marketing to distribution. Starting urbanbaby & toddler magazine was the perfect utilization of her skills and interests.

Since urbanbaby & toddler magazine published its first issue, it proved so popular that its distribution doubled after its first few issues, and it now prints colour throughout every edition.

Emma is married and lives with her husband in Vancouver with their two children, the inspiration for the magazine.
